Neighborhood Goods and Services: Grade 1 printable practice with five tasks, an answer key, and teacher guidance. Print on US Letter or A4, or save as PDF from the print window.
Teaching and response guide
- You buy a loaf of bread. Is the bread a good or a service?
- A gardener sells a plant and plants it for a customer. Name the good.
- Draw one good and one service you might find in your neighborhood. Tell an adult which is which.
Watch for: A book is a good; repairing a book is a service. Other appropriate examples are accepted.
Check the answer criteria for each task. A supported explanation may have more than one acceptable response. These activities offer evidence to discuss; completing a sheet alone does not establish mastery.
