Teaching and response guide
- Begin with: Find net force for mass 2 kg and acceleration 3 m/s².
- Connect the response to: Two horizontal forces are 10 N right and 6 N left. Find net force.
- Ask students to apply the idea: With the same net force, what happens to acceleration if mass doubles?
Watch for: Accepting an answer without checking whether it uses the material and satisfies the requested relationship or criteria.
Check the answer criteria for each task. A supported explanation may have more than one acceptable response. These activities offer evidence to discuss; completing a sheet alone does not establish mastery.
